SEMI-PERMANANT MAKE UP

BeforeAfter_Lip.jpg

Your lips will be very red and dry for the first couple of days. If you’ve ever had cold sores or herpes on your lips, there is 90% chance of recurrence of sores, so please consult with your physician and take antiviral prescription medication.  Doctors usually instruct to begin taking medication 3 days before procedure for 7-10 days.  Red parts of your lips will start to dry out and peel, so please apply Vaseline, lip balm, or lip gloss to protect your lips and do not pick off skin in order to achieve even tone.  Tone after fading and lips are healed is considered “base tone” and is only about 10-20% of initial treatment day.  Don’t be disappointed by the lightness of tone and fading as we will use this “base tone” to achieve desired color at the touch up procedure. We don’t recommend using darker or brighter color for base tone because your lips may look “unnatural.” Shape, color, size, or other imperfections will be corrected at touch up appointment.  The most important thing to keep in mind is moisturizing your lips before and after treatment starting 2-3 days prior to your appointment.
